We’ll be knitting stockings big and small, and getting a head start on our gift knitting. (I have to confess, though- my Tiny Stockings will be a gift to me!).

One of the best things about KALs is the inspiration you can get from seeing others’ unique interpretations of the design, so don’t be shy about sharing your progress and finished projects on social media or in the dedicated Ravelry thread. And if you have any questions about the pattern you’re using, don’t hesitate to post a question in the Ravelry thread or reach out to me directly at info_at_theknittingtutor.net.

The Christmas in July Stocking Knitalong runs through the whole month of July. To add to the fun, I’ll be hosting at least one Zoom Meetup! But I need some help scheduling it. Would you please take a minute to fill out this poll to let me know what time(s) might work best for you? [Filling out a poll is not a commitment to joint any Zoom calls- it just helps me find the optimal time!]
Once I’ve scheduled it, I’ll send out a link to participants about a week before the Zoom call, as well as day-of.
I am so excited to connect with you and see what yarns you are using to knit your stockings. And this is a great chance to ask any questions you may have about the patterns.

Y’all, I am so, so excited about the amazing prize that Asylum Fibers has donated to us for this Knitalong. Floating-on-air, in fact. It’s the exact holiday countdown box that I used to knit the set of Tiny Stockings in the picture above. Yes- 24 gorgeous hand-dyed mini skeins packed in a surprise box so you can open them one at a time as you complete your garland or other project.
To be eligible to win, all you need to do is finish one Tiny or full sized stocking from my pattern portfolio in the month of July. Multiple finished stockings means multiple entries! More information about the prize entry form will be provided on the FAQ document I send when you sign up for the KAL.

Any of my Tiny or full-sized stocking patterns are eligible for prizes. This includes Making Merry, Deck Your Halls, and any one of the Tiny Stocking Collection, including the *free* Tiny Stocking pattern (shown above). That’s what I’ll be knitting, and I’d love for you to join me!
You can find the paid patterns on Ravelry and Payhip, and a link the free Tiny Stocking pattern will be included in the FAQ document that I’ll send you when you sign up for the KAL.
